Child Care....It's What's In The Cards!!

Yes yes I just coined a poker term (which is one of my favorite things to do) and I am darn proud of it. This past weekend my extended family was visiting and I realized something rather self affirming about myself. That self affirming epiphany that had struck me was that I am super awesome with little kids. My mom told me, my cousin told me, everyone told me! You know how people say after one hears the same thing over and over again from one or multiple persons they start to believe it is true? Well, I just had that! I am not only awesome with kids, but they happen to understand me and know where I am coming from and vice versa. Some parents do not understand what their child's mind has produced half the time, so it really is great when there is someone that gets them, and that would be me. I have the forthcoming ability to adapt to any personality over time and understand the mind of a child simply because I used to be one myself and know what it is like to be misunderstood. It is very unpredictable what the outcome will be, but with a little bit of patience, adaptation, and communication, anyone could do the deed. To a child care employer, I am who they are looking for. I had coined a poker phrase earlier for a reason and here is that reason. The reason is because all these years of playing poker I have gained patience and wisdom to pay attention to great detail. I pit the poker game against life itself and combine the two and it works out because patience, wisdom and understanding certain behaviors are what makes a great parent. Now I am not an expert or anything along those lines, mainly because I do not have any children myself, but I do know what make children tick and behave. To all those mothers, future mothers, and heck even grandmothers out there, take it from me, continue doing what you're doing but just up the ante on the patience end a bit! That's all I have for you, carry on!

Praying during a Baseball game! Give Me a Break!

I was watching baseball last night and the sight of fans in the stands looking up to the sky begging for some help gets rather tiring and tiring real quickly. I mean come on, these are grown people begging for something good to happen, and asking for some help. Isn't that a blow to one's ego when you ask for help? It would be for me, I mean I dislike with a passion asking for help, I cannot stand it and when I do I look down upon myself. Same goes for everyone else in the world I'm sure, we all strive to be as independent as possible and to perform in life to the best of our ability. When that occurs you know you've gone somewhere in the world. Back to my point earlier, based upon my sports experiences especially as a Baseball fan over the years, what I have learned is that "God" takes the day off during a Baseball game plain and simple. Apparently the sports world isn't important enough, and the reason I say that is because every team that I have ever liked personally throughout the years has never won a championship, they might have come close and come within a few wins and such, but it still never happened so I've been deprived. Yes I could be just another bitter sports fan and be rather upset and negative and thats the reason why I'm saying "God" is taking the day off when there is a game on, but trust me, whenever you ask for help during any kind of sporting event the opposite comes true. When you pray for a home run, a ground out to the infielder for an out will occur. If you want a strikeout, thats when you get the home run you wanted, but it is against your team rather than for them. This is all based on life experience from my stand point, I could be wrong, but I sincerely doubt it. Come on people! No more of the praying, it is all a bunch of crap. When it comes to Baseball I am just as superstitious as the next guy, but still, I don't pretend to be religious just because I want my team to win, remember that! Get with it! Sports are exciting, but they're still meant to be what they are, no help necessary.

Marriage!.....Not So Special Anymore!!

Nowadays you see married people everywhere. Schools, workplace, local parks, doctor's offices. You see them everywhere wherever the public is involved. Wherever you go there is a person with a ring upon their left finger. It almost makes me cringe to a certain degree, and what irritates me the most about the whole thing, is that people of the young generation are getting married as though it is "the thing" to do. I mean people I went to high school with are supposedly falling in love and tying the knot as if it is a normal everyday hobby. Little do they know what they're getting themselves into. Marriage doesn't last anymore people! Divorce rates are as high as they've ever been, and people just cannot handle being around one another like they thought they did going in. I mean the average marriage lasts a little over two years nowadays, thats the average, and my oh my that is brutally short! What are people thinking? I wonder what is going through their heads, because marriage isn't a toy, it is not something you can turn on and off whenever you feel like it. Marriage is hard work, and according to my parents its very hard work. They are best friends, but that doesn't mean much because they're from the generation where it was easier and it was supposed to happen. Nowadays you don't have to get married because things are more independent based rather than co dependent based. I mean don't get me wrong, due to the current economy you almost need to have your spouse working too but there is still more opportunities now for women than ever before so it is easier to just simply be on your own. I happen to think marriage is overrated and it really does make me cringe having to spend my time with the same person every single day and have them be in my space but thats just me. People get married now for all the wrong reasons, and most of them are because of benefits and how it makes their life easier and all that, I think that is just a load of crap and those people should be punished. I turn on the television earlier and all I see is an engagement ring commercial and people getting married. It consumes even the media world. It kind of makes you think that the media and the higher ups want everyone to get married, all I have to say to that is No Thank You! Because I know who I am, and I know what I am capable of and my lifestyle doesn't fit with marriage, I wish more people were like that, its a shame! A big shame if you ask me! Come on world! Be independent!

The Media is Nothing But A Favoritism Game!!

The media in newspapers and television news and even internet news is nothing but a favoritism game simply because all they the reporters ever write or report about is what they think would be popular at the time. What some people consider popular in this world are the things no one really knows about. For instance, I, as well as several people I acquaint myself with like indie films. I love how they are low budget and they feel laid back, and the writing is actually better than any expensive production they have out there nowadays. When you look at sports, all the reporters ever put in the news are events about big payroll teams like the Yankees, Red Sox, Patriots, and even the Steelers. No one writes or reports about the small market teams, and to me that is unfair because they play the same game, they have some really talented players that deserve recognition of some kind, and they work hard just like anyone else in their profession does, and some of them even deserve the same hefty contracts that the popular players get, but since it is a favoritism game they won't get that money. Such an unfortunate state of affairs if you think about it. It makes me sad sometimes because I think about it and wonder what if a lot about some players getting the same salaries as the big timers do. If that would happen, the sport would be better because the good guys would win in the end and get their fair due, but seeing as how the world does not work like that, life goes on and we continue doing what we do every single day. It kind of makes you think though, if things were different would we even like it, and what I have to say to that is, Yes!! We would definitely love it because the small timers like us who like the small time things and are a big fan of the unknowns would love to get the attention we deserve. I think the world better shape up and take notice of what they are missing out on. Loosen up world! Understand what you are missing out on and get with it. Would the world be better off? You bet your arse it would!!

Degree? Really? America Isn't So Free Afterall!!

Today I applied for a freelance writing job. I didn't get it simply because I lacked the right education as well as experience necessary to write about what they needed me to write about. That explanation was definitely okay because it was right on. It was very exact and I appreciated them for informing me and telling me the truth unlike other companies who just leave you hanging and wondering why. The thing about it is that you pretty much need education and experience necessary to live the American dream. No matter if it is just to paint a house, they require you to take a special test and this and that in order to even have a smidgeon of a chance to land the mode of employment you want to be employed in. My stance on education has always been clear as night and day. I have never been a proponent on sitting in class and doing school work and paying attention to a boring instructor attempting to teach me something that I can find out in books. It has never appealed nor will it ever appeal to me. The sad part about it is that I had to do it for years from Kindergarten to post high school and it drove me crazy. Education should not be necessary in my opinion because if you already know what you're doing and you have been doing it for a long time, there is no reason to get a degree to advance yourself because you're probably more qualified than anyone else applying for that same job is. Yet they (the powers that be in the chosen industry) pick the person with the educational background, and it doesn't make sense and it never will to me. I am just as good of a writer as anyone else they have in those companies and I consider myself a very smart person with an above average IQ (because it is true and I have been tested) and it is an insult to not be chosen for something that I think I would be really great at. America is obviously not as free as we thought it was and as much as she labels herself as. All the want ads and Classifieds sections of newspapers and online postings all want education and experience, just a sad, sad state of affairs. Hopefully it changes because the world is missing out on a lot of talented people who are just waiting in the weeds to show off what they have. Something must be done about this, some way, somehow.

How to Deal With Living With Asperger's Syndrome

from wikiHow - The How to Manual That You Can Edit

Living with Asperger's Syndrome is not as tough as people think it is. It can actually be a blessing in disguise due to the fact that you are not considered like everyone else. That can work to your advantage and overtime you will learn to be okay with being considered different.

Steps

  1. Do not get too upset. The worst thing you can do is get down on yourself and get depressed and become suicidal. There will be days when you feel that way but it goes away after a moment and you will feel better once you go back to doing your hobbies.

  2. Stick to your hobbies. "Aspies" have certain restrictive hobbies that they like to do throughout the day that keeps their interest, be it counting, playing cards, calculating sports stats, anything that calms you down, makes you happy, just stick with it.

  3. Once you know who you are through the hobbies and interests you love, help your family understand who you are. Work with them to help them get you and welcome them into your world.

  4. In school, be it home school or public or private, be open to starting new relationships with people even if you do not want to. Find someone with the same interests and engage in conversation, go out and join a social group with others like you, get out of your shell a little more and make yourself susceptible to new things even if at first you do not like it.

  5. Accept who you are. Like yourself and know your limitations as a person. Just because you have a social disorder doesn't mean you aren't a person too. You have limitations and are shy, who isn't? You are still you and just accept yourself and learn to love who you are, your limitations make you who you are.

Tips

  • when in an argument with friends or family, do not lash out and become angry, just immediately go to your room or home and go back into your comfort zone and stay there until you calm down.

  • Wait for the teacher in school to tell you what to do or where to go. To avoid embarassment just let the people come to you, including new acquaintances in school.

  • Be nice to your parents, open them up to your world, they will see how beautiful life is with showing another side of the world.

  • Do not be afraid of who you are. hold your head up high, not low to the ground that you are used to.

  • Just be you.

Warnings

  • Watch out for bullies at school. Be careful and just avoid them, you are different but everyone is.

Young Generation TV....Where Have We Gone??

The younger generation these days are so blind when it comes to what is good on the television. Shows like i-Carly, Suite Life of Zack and Cody, and even Wizards of Waverley place are what is the most popular. Back in the day, it used to be just Gumby and Scooby Doo Where Are You? Gumby was a classic simply because it provided entertainment and kept you watching with a smile on your face because of how the characters were shaped what they brought to the table. Scooby Doo was a dog whom is always missing in action and makes a lot of mistakes, but then eventually solves the crime without even knowing how. The shows nowadays are just not full of the same enjoyment and humor as they used to be. What has happened to children's television? The answer to that is greed. Plain and simple greed is what has happened. The television broadcasts just want money, and they think they are giving to the general public what the general public wants. In reality, that is not the case and our children are forced to watch what they think is an educational bit of life thrown their way when instead it is just artificial filler on channels meant for imagination alone. The creative imagination is a wonderful thing, having a child imagine something and go to their own world is what we actually want them to do, but we don't want them to engage themselves in a fake reality and get so drawn into it that we lose them. Today's broadcasts like Nick Jr. and the Disney Channel are a big disappointment. They should model their business after Noggin. Not only is Noggin educational but provides a little extra pizzazz  for the child to understand what life is all about through all the hidden messages. It is those secret messages that humans love and want their children to learn to succeed from.  That is what life is all about is it not? You decide!

Asperger's Syndrome: Hell on Wheels

Nobody knows what people with Asperger's Syndrome go through. They have no idea what it feels like to see the world in a different light. One day you are looking through a looking glass, focusing on what is inside. The next day you are like a lost puppy who cannot seem to remember where their home, even though their home happens to be right in front of them. Some days are different than others. On the good days, you can show a glimpse of hope when it comes to socializing with people, and you come out of your small inner shell into the world and feel comfortable with the ones around you. On the bad days, you do not want to get out of bed, and want to stay in your bedroom and not move a muscle and just play on your laptop and watch television. You are so focused on your "restrictive interests" that you forget who you are effecting around you. Your relatives and friends want to spend time with you but you can't read emotion well and you cannot understand what a person wants and so it frustrates them, but since they know you, they know what will set you off on a tantrum, so they cannot tell you what you have done to affect them. Asperger's Syndrome is a demon, and it takes over the membrane and destroys your social life, and makes you feel like you do not belong in the world. There being no cure, there being no solution, just makes you wonder even more if you really want to continue on. Depression, anxiety creeps in day by day until you think about checking out. Knowing you just have to fight it and keep on coping, you realize that your "restrictive interests" as well as your Asperger's is what makes you who you are. It defines you and over time you learn to deal with it. The syndrome makes you go through hoops and bounds emotionally, affects certain relationships and makes you unable to trust people, but in the end you realize who you truly are and you eventually accept yourself.

Steroids in Baseball? But of Course!!

Tonight I saw something rather unreal. Actually, I have seen it more than once but it is still sickening and unreal. What I saw was the New York Yankees come back in the bottom of the eleventh inning, after going behind a run in the top of the inning after the second basemen of the Anaheim Angels hit a shallow single over the head of Alex Rodriguez to score a run to go ahead 3-2 in the game. Enter the bottom of the inning and none other than that same Alex Rodriguez comes up to the plate to lead off the inning, third pitch, up and away and BOOM! Over the glove of right fielder Bobby Abreu and into the first row of wet fans on a rainy night. That made my heart sink further down into my chest because it reminded me that the only reason why unreal comebacks like that occur in a single baseball game is because of the dreaded S word. Yes I do mean steroids! It has been an ongoing subject the last three straight years. We keep talking about it and talking about and going on and on about steroids affecting a player's batting stance, steroids affecting the mind set of a player bringing on mood swings in-game and making it so that freakish things can happen over the course of a single game. Since I am a local bay area boy born and bred, I can literally tell you that it was no surprise to me when Barry Bonds was in the news of suspected drug use because not only is he past the age of forty, but he was in really good shape and he was dinging the ball out of the stadium as if it was a whiffle ball. And we all knew that it wasn't a whiffle ball now didn't we? Hmmm, let's think here....Mark McGwire, 37 years old slugging the ball out of the ballpark as if it was the easiest thing to do, oh and hitting 70 home runs to boot. Sammy Sosa, treating it fairly easily and 66 home runs to boot. Then years later, Barry Bonds, the bay area's own son, hitting it like it was fairly easy (even though it isn't) and dinging 73 homers to beat McGwire's record who beat Roger Maris's record who beat Babe Ruth's record. So not only were these old fogies over the ages of forty making history all at once within a few years apart, but they were cheating history all at once within a few years. How crazy is that? Now because of the whole cheating scandal, all types of ballplayers are being shunned out of the spotlight, some forced and some voluntary. McGwire will not show his face anymore and Bonds cannot find a job anymore. Go figure! Finally justice in sports. Brings me back to the earlier Alex Rodriguez homer, reminded me of all the bad we had gone through as fans over the past few years. Him hitting that ball over the right field fence, made everyone, including some New Yorkers cringe with fear because of all that has happened to the game and sports in general so far. It is unlikely that people will get over this anytime soon but we can only hope that it gets better and the drug tests are much more full of clarity. We shall see, but as of right now I will still be cringing and for the next couple of days will be wondering what if! For baseball will always be apart of my life, but hopefully the purity and joy of the game remains intact.

Work Sucks!! Everyone Knows It Is True!!

I have never been able to hold a job for that long in my life. To some people they would be afraid to admit that, but with me I do not mind admitting it because it is true, and since I am true to myself, it makes perfect sense to be proud of it. I have no regrets in my life, I have my fair share of embarassing moments and spurts of flashbacks in my mind during the day that make me want to cringe, but I have no regrets at all because I have learned to like who I am and be proud of what I have been able to accomplish. I was born with a social disorder that permits me to be sort of shy a lot of the time and keeps me from going out into public a lot because I don't like big crowds and social gatherings. I have learned over time to accept that about myself after years of being ashamed and subdued because of it. I have not been able to hold down a job because of my disorder as well as my lack of paying attention. I tend to zone out and be thinking of other things, I tend to think of my "restrictive interests" throughout the day and that keeps me from staying with a job for a long period of time because supervisors tend to not like it very much. I also cannot hold down a job because I never know what to do, in order for me to understand something fully, people need to explain it to me more than once and even show me how it is done. After I see how it is done then I know exactly how to do it, but my brain for some reason is unable to register something that is told to me. I have to see it happen and see it demonstrated in order to know what to exactly do. It doesn't sound too complicated huh? But for some reason people have never understood me. Hence why I do not like work, I think all corporations are biased and only looking for the leg up and who can give them the most profit possible. They don't care about the disabled because they don't want to spend the going rate to a person who they think "can't get it"! That is okay by me, I have managed over the years, I have stayed with what I know and swayed to my strengths to the best of my ability. I have started online businesses, I have played Poker, and I have done odd jobs for people. I have never been a person of normalcy but I have managed over the years and thats all that really matters if you think about it. Work sucks and everyone knows it is true. No one wants to get up everyday, and go to a stupid job and listen to a stupid boss and never get any accolades or recognition thrown their way. Just ask my dad, after 25 years at the same job, no accolades ever to show for it, very sad in my opinion. Corporations can shove it and businesses can shove it, I'm working for myself the rest of my life. Because I think I am doing just fine right now and hopefully it'll come to pass that others will learn not to take crap. We will see, I have a feeling it will all come together in the end. What do you think?

Being Healthy....the New Me!!

Ever since the middle of January of this year, I have noticed a change in myself. That change has happened to occur in my appetite for food and my desire to be more active. Before I would eat whatever I wanted and work out and burn off more calories than I consumed thus leading to weight gain. And I was very unhappy and not able to move really well and I was tired during the day and felt useless and had mood swings. Well, I still have the mood swings, minus the exhausted feeling and laziness. Now I can get up every morning and feel energized and able to do things faster and not get winded and just feel amazing. I eat healthier and do not get as much heartburn and am not as tired. I have noticed that Caffeine makes it easier for me as far as my hunger balance goes. It makes it so that I am not as hungry in between meals and that I eat much later than usual. I eat about four times per day and have the same routine every day. Wake up at the same time every day, eat at the same time, work out at the same time and even have my protein drink at the same time after work outs. I will work out Monday through Friday and have the weekends free to just live my daily life. I only work out for 35-40 minutes everyday and make sure I take the proper supplements to make my muscles stronger. I take a scoop of 100% Whey Protein, throw it in a blender with some chopped up fresh fruit, and some milk, mix it up in there and gulp it down. Along with it on occasion to add flavor I will add a quarter cup of cereal or granola and it makes the flavoring much better. Along with the Whey Protein I add two capsules of Glutamine, which is meant for strength and recovery after workouts, open them up and pour the insides into the blender. It makes me feel energized and helps my muscles recover and gets them fully rested during sleep. Over the course of the past nine months I have calculated that I have consumed nearly 350,000 less calories than I would have over every other nine month period throughout my life. 3500 calories consumed equals a pound of body weight gained, I will eat half of that per day and therefore not gain weight based on that method alone. I have lost nearly fifty pounds in a nine month period based on those calculations so I like the new me. I am also a big fan of sweet potatoes and Tofu, two things my mom said recently that she has been trying to make me eat for years and I never wanted to, funny how things change huh?  My current work out plan is included below:

Monday: Cardio day..62 minutes on Elliptical trainer

Tuesday: Upper Body day...23 minute warmup on Elliptical trainer. 200 pushups with 4 sets of 50 intervals. Iron Gym shoulder presses constant movement of 100.      50 nonstop 10 pound dumbbell curls, 10 really slow shoulder shrugs. 100 tricep dips in 4 sets of 25 intervals. 15 minutes altogether equaling 40 minute workout.

Wednesday: Lower Body day...25 minute warm up on Elliptical trainer...Squats with 10 pound dumbbell, 150 with 6 sets of 25 intervals. Squats without dumbbell, 125 with 5 sets of 25 intervals.  upper and lower butt push outs, 200 (100 each leg) with 4 sets of 25 intervals each leg....Wall Squat, will hold for 3 minutes altogether....20 minute workout...40 minute workout altogether.

Thursday: Abs Day...100 crunches (grows by 100 every week), ground leg holds (lay on your back with legs up above your waist slowly bringing your legs up to your chest) hold for 2 minutes altogether.....30 minutes on Elliptical trainer....34-35 minute workout altogether...

Friday: Cardio day number two.....60 minutes on Elliptical trainer....

200 minutes of cardio weekly (three hours and 20 minutes)

Pretty good if I may say so myself LOL

Religion and Politcs!....Two Things I hate to Talk About!

All of my adult life I have been a very opinionated person. I do not know where it came from or how it occurred but that is how it is with me. I have been this way since high school and even during high school I had found myself enough to know who I truly am. The things that make a person who they are the most in my opinion is how religious they are and what they think politically. To me they are just things in the world, they do not really matter as far as I am concerned. I do not pay enough attention to the world to notice anyway about politics and whatnot, only what I watch with my grandmother on certain days on CNN.  I happen to think that all politics are silly. For the longest time I have been an advocate for no politics. Just recently I labeled myself as Libertarian because that is what I come closest to. When I was just learning the voting ropes when I was just legal enough to vote, my parents would put a lot of pressure on me to vote for a Liberal because that is what they were, and they kept giving me reasons to whenever I'd ask questions. Some of their reasons made tons of sense and it would work early on, but lately I've been thinking on my own two feet and I've noticed I do not care as much. I vote for whoever agrees with me the most as all people should, but I tend to not like Liberals very much or Conservatives for that matter. I tend to stick to the third parties more and offer my support when needed. I have a lot of Liberal in me like I am Pro Choice and think that an adult should have the right to choose if she wants to keep it or not and Abortion is okay with me. And then I have some Conservatism in me like I am for the death penalty and think that all killers should be executed because they're evil, evil people. As for the tax issue, higher taxes aren't good but sometimes we need that in order to balance out the rest of the monetary issues with the country so I don't really have an opinion on it. I am all in all a strong Libertarian that can swing either side and will research when needed.
When I was younger I went to church camps and learned bible verses and sang songs and all that, and I was brainwashed for a long time into thinking that God was our savior and he was the almighty and was great and gave us life, sacrificed himself for all of us living and this and that and the other. As far as I am concerned though, there is no God, there never will be a God and we came about due to Evolution. We are a product of Evolution, and by the world turning and over time we naturally grew into the form of a standing human with a working brain. It all started with the Dinosaurs, then the cavemen came around acting stupid and they worked hard to get what they wanted, and then naturally overtime we evolved into intelligent better looking humans. Hard work came from the cavemen, they started the whole work ethic movement that is going on right now. Yes, the world isn't that great but it still is the world we live in and the world isn't great because God made it great, it is what we make of it. Life is what everyone makes of it and its what we do either good or bad that decides our own fate. I am not a believer in God, fate, or soulmates, but I do believe that in the course of a person's lifetime, that they will find more than one person they get along with and they will fall in love with them, or spend time with them and start adoring them, doesn't mean they are soulmates, it just means it is someone that is just like them or opposite, and they enjoy their company. I am a very simple person, things I cannot see I do not believe in, and I question the things that everyone talks about. I do not believe in Magic or sorcerers or ghosts or any of that jazz. To me its all crap and that is what it will stay. I am a non believer, I am a Libertarian non believer and I am very proud of it! I am who I am and will not change, I am too stubborn to change and would not want it any other way!

Growth Industry? Everything is Apparently!

I was just watching this show called Shark Tank and man is it brutal!  There are these five different entrepreneurs who are self made multi-millionaires in their respective fields of expertise and they either were partners in a company that went public and then sold for a big load of money, or they invented a product and then it made profit. Different people, with different ideas come in and stand in front of them and pitch their product to the five "judges" and then the "judges" decide if they want to invest their money in the proposed offer. More often than not, the "judges" turn it down, even though most of them were pretty good ideas. I do not really understand most of what the "judges" are saying or even thinking because most of the pitched ideas are very good and very helpful. Like for instance an antioxidant powder to help prevent disease for animals and help them live longer, or a retail clothing company focusing on just plus sized women. Those two ideas alone are pretty awesome and should have been taken more into consideration instead of being turned down right away. In this nation, people grasp onto anything to make them feel good about themselves, especially in this economy, and we need as much help as we can get, some people moreso than others. This nation doesn't make a whole lot of sense when it comes to what is fashionable and what is not. I do not understand why the media and marketing only focus on women or men that are rare. The average woman is a size 12 and up, that is just how it is, and that is considered a "real woman" and I will wholeheartedly agree with that. Women like Shakira and Jessica Alba never eat, and work out all the time, and thats the only reason why they look the way they do. They think they have so much pressure on them to look a certain way that they do not have fun, do not eat awesome food or do anything awesome at all because they're focusing on their career and their figure to realize that they're not really living. To me that is a travesty because women should look healthy, they should eat well, take care of themselves and look good and any woman can look good even though they're considered bigger than society standards say they're supposed to which is a load of crap because there is no rulebook that tells you what you should look like, only what they (the powers that be) think sells. As far as guys go, we watch football, eat pizza, and drink beer and do manual labor jobs, and we are proud of it. We don't look like Calvin Klein models, we are real men, women that only go for the men on television have issues because they should realize that those men on the television represent only point one (.01) percent of the world and the male gender. With that being said, I'm a real man, I am fashionable and do not need the powers that be telling me what to buy or what to wear or how to act, I will do whatever I want and when I want to do it and will wear, eat and sleep whenever I want and I would expect the same in the women I date as well. Hope someone agrees with me here. Society is fake and we are all brainwashed into thinking a certain way and that's a travesty because a lot of good people are turned down and dragged away when they are the ones we should be looking at to model our lives after. I said my piece and now I am saying Peace!

America's Pastime? Not Mine This Year!! :(

Wow! What a Postseason huh? Actually no it wasn't. Every match up that took place was a mismatch, but you see that's what I don't get. I mean on paper every match up except one was either pretty equal or one team was just a smidgeon better.  I don't know what happened, but I seriously do not enjoy it when one team gets the brooms out for the other, especially in the first round of the biggest stage in Baseball. The second round doesn't hurt as much simply because the team has showed they have what it takes to at least advance further, but a quick three and out in the first round? Come on now, at least put forth an effort!  The only team out of the three that got swept early that I will stand up for is the Minnesota Twins, and for more than one reason. They took it to the Yankees all year long, they would get the lead early and the starting pitching carried them all ten match ups against the "Bronx Bombers" but then as soon as the starting pitcher would exit and as soon as the Twins got a miniscule enough lead to at least get a tiny bit comfortable, there come the Yankees tearing the hearts out of every Minnesotan including myself and I'm a Californian. I mean that goes to show you the Yankees are not only unfair to face in a game, especially the grandest stage of them all, but that they have too many overpaid employees and because of those same overpaid employees, their lineup card is completely filled with offensive threat after offensive threat and how can that be fair up against a small market team like Minnesota? Well I can answer that in a blink of an eye, "it doesn't!! It does not people! It doesn't make any sense at all and I wish that the fans had a say in who the new Commissioner is going to be because we definitely need a much younger and broad minded one compared to the one we have now"! That's just what I think and I'm sure tons agree with me. Of course the Yankees get the calls in the postseason, the umpires pretty much singlehandedly screwed over the Twins multiple times in that division series and it made my skin crawl. What I found funny was that in the other American League series with the Angels and Red Sox, the Angels got the majority of the calls for them, that is kind of odd simply because the Red Sox have the most tradition and that since they have won a lot you'd think that the umpires would want them to win as well as the Yankees but I guess they (like me) have had enough of the Red Sox as well.  You cannot have both anymore because the public just gets too tired of it, so the new kid on the block this year was the Angels and they figure the lesser of the two evils was the Yankees, which in my opinion sucks because the Yankees look like an incredible team this year even without the bad calls from the umpires. But then again, that's due to the high payroll of the team. I have been a strong proponent of salary cap in Baseball for a long time now. It is unfair for big market teams like the ones in New York to get all the money while the smaller market teams like my beloved Padres have to suffer by only having a smidgeon of money every year to work with and people wonder why they never win...Gee let's think here, "we can't get a big bat or a good pitcher because we don't have any money to pay them, so we have to draft guys out of high school or college and have to wait for them to get good". That is why they (and other small market teams) never win because of the monetary issue.
I have never liked how teams win every year but this year is pretty different. The Phillies have showed me that they have what it takes and they definitely earned it from being down in a lot of games and showing the poise to come back and win. That shows not only heart but shapes the character of a team and that is very special once you have that. I can't wait for my team to have that. Just like the Yankees from the late 90's and Oakland A's from the late 80's, the Phillies might be that team of the 2000's era. Baseball is a funny game, but if we do away with all the small market this, big market that, and make all teams equal and on the same level then perhaps more people will watch the games and more fans will emerge and the end of the season pennant races will be more exciting because you won't have the same teams to watch every single season in the playoffs and thats the day where I will smile more, be sad less, and live a very happier life than I already do. That is the stuff of dreams, come on Baseball make it happen!

Reality Tv! So Corrupt!

This was just fresh on my mind....Reality Television, preferably singing shows are very corrupt.  I hope I am not the only one that has noticed this, but they (the producers)  tend to play favorites a lot and advance the less likely singers to win only because they think they have "the look" or a nice backstory even though there are some that are very deserving based on talent alone that do not go through because they aren't marketable in a television sense. Definitely makes me sick because last time I checked it was a "singing competition" not a popularity contest or a producers likeness contest. We are supposed to vote for who we think is the best one to make it through and advance every week and eventually to the end to win. And who we think is the most marketable in a music industry sense, it should be up to the people at home simply because we are the ones that buy the records to begin with and we are the ones that buy the tickets to go to see them in concerts around the country so of course it should be up to the people, they got that fact correct. But lately I've noticed it has become less and less about the people at home and more and more about the producers of the shows and who they think should advance to give them the best ratings possible for the show and who they can have on there at the end who will make them the most money possible. Think about it, how else did Sanjaya make it so far on American Idol? It obviously wasn't his talent or his voice for that matter, both of them were lacking in every category possible. Think back to years ago, Clay Aiken had Season two in the bag the whole time and they just wanted Ruben to win because of his back story and his likability. Singing didn't matter afterall and there was a controversy about the voting system during the Finale, makes total sense to me that they were rigging the show on purpose. Ever since that night, I have never felt the same about Reality television and I have every right in the world to feel that way based on the past circumstances. Shows like Survivor, The Apprentice, all of them are the same way, its not who "we" want, its what "they" want. Its totally unfortunate but just the way it is. Instead of fighting it, we should just stop watching altogether, that will show them who is boss. Just what I was thinking, thanks for listening to me rant!

Double Days and Hobbies!! Go Together like Horse in Carriage...Don't they?

I am going to do what I think is best...I am going to do something completely different...That thing is double day...You're probably wondering what that is, but its pretty self explanatory as far as I'm concerned...It means that I will be inserting two blogs tonight, what do you think of that? Awesome huh? I think the first subject I will talk about is what I have noticed about myself and what my hobbies are....First off I have noticed that I am an ignorant person at times. I tend to just zone out when people are talking to me and I will then either interrupt or will just think about something entirely different. I tend to accuse other people of doing that exact same thing and I do find it annoying but then again I do it too so I guess that also makes me a big time hypocrite. I cannot read people's body language half the time and I do not understand sarcasm well...When someone is listening to me talk and then they either call me a liar out of the blue or just say something negative about me, I will not know that they're kidding, I will suspect they're being serious and I will go on a defensive tangent. I do not like that about myself because it ruins the playful tone that the other person was setting and it also makes me look bad and later on I think that the person doesn't like me and I play the "avoider" role the rest of the day pretty much. That is what having Asperger's Syndrome does to me, it makes me an avoider and makes it so that I go the other route once a confrontation arises. It also plays with my mind a lot and just makes me all depressed. I always figure I'll be alone the rest of my life and end up dying alone because no woman would ever want to spend her life with a co-dependent as well as complicated individual who, because of his gender should be the hot shot in the relationship. That is just what I think but we will see I guess..I am a very nice person over all and have a caring heart, just I tend to shut down when around people and can't handle my emotions well. Its all a work in progress.
Now that I got that out of the way, I can talk about what I like, like my hobbies and such. I play a lot of Poker, I take days off in between but I love playing it as often as I can. It has helped me work on my patience and has helped me learn to read people which I still can't do very well but I am working on it. I have played it for 4 years now and I think that I am pretty good and I am almost at that level of mastering the game fully. I want it to be my sole source of income one day so I'm working as hard as I can to accomplish that goal. There are a lot of titles and tons of money to be won and earned so I'm all about going for it. Reading is a big thing for me, I usually read only when I work out because that is when I have the most time to spare, but I tend to go through a new book every week and I love being lost in the pages and using my creative mind to figure things out, quite an awesome travel that is. I'm also a big family person, can't live without my parents pretty much. The saddest day of my life is the day they'll both die, then I'll be a lost puppy pretty much. Poker, family and Baseball are my life, without all of those things I'd be even more lost and wouldn't know what to do with myself.  I also do not like gel shaving cream, only will use the white foam kind. Love Classic Rock music, Thrillers are my favorite film genre, and since I have sensitive skin I can never wear those business-like striped shirts that some guys wear, they give me rashes on my chest and neck so I either wear buttoned up shirts or polo shirts. But Tee shirts are my favorite regardless. Oh, and I also don't mind being a twin, I rather like it some days..Just some things you know about me and have learned about me..More to come!

A Change is Gonna Come........But Possibly Never!

I am a huge opponent of change..I don't like it, never ever have. I don't even make that word apart of my daily vocabulary because it is just not something that I have grown familiar with over the course of my short life so far. I have always tried to adjust my daily routines accordingly to fit other people's plans or whatnot, but it really just has never been my thing. They say change is what life is all about. Well, to those people, all I have to say is, "that is a load of horse crap"! I was born with a mild form of Autism, and the last thing we (the people just like me) need is change. When Barack Obama was running for the Presidency recently, his campaign was centered around the word change and that just doesn't work for me like ever! I mean how much could you possibly want to change about your life? If you do not like yourself that much then that is your problem, and you really need to work on that, but those of us that don't like to change or want to be changed at all, that shows that we like ourselves and are content with who we are as people. And that last statement totally defines me, I really like who I am and wouldn't adjust anything about my life even a little bit..
Sure I was born with Autism and all that, but it's not like the "normal" person could even tell. I carry myself very well and I manage to even make eye contact and shake hands and allow myself to be touched, which are three dynamics that really bother Autistic people very much. I had to learn to deal with it. I like waking up at the same time every day, getting out of bed and fixing myself some food, taking a shower and watching some television and then working out later on in the afternoon. That is what I like to do...I also like the fact that I do not have to worry about making payments like car insurance (because I've never had a car) and paying rent while I live with my parents. I get disability benefits and I'm one hell of a poker player and will win a ton of money one day so I have no worries in the world..Yes I have never held down a job for a long time, or lived on my own. But who cares? not me..I am very content with my life..I like who I am. I like how I live my life differently than most others. There is not another like me I can promise anyone that. I just go about my daily life as if it is apart of me and thats exactly what it is, a big part of me. Guess that makes me very secure, and I would not want it any other way. I am who I am and why change a good thing? The answer to that is that I never ever will, so future women in my life, deal with it, if you take a chance on me you won't regret it. Trust yourself and you'll go places in life!

Death...Such a Bummer!!

Happy Thursday everyone!  Well, not such a happy Thursday after all now is it? Those of you that do not know, my grandmother's dog died last night. Yeah I know, very crappy. Most of you that read this will probably end up laughing inside due to the reason that the dog died, and then you will probably put on a sad face on purpose to show me that you really care and that you're not a pompous butt head, but that's beside the point, the point is that my dog died.  Now here is the cause of death (C.O.D) crushing of the neck and pelvic region. You're probably thinking to yourself, "how does that happen to a dog"? Well, pretty simple actually, it normally lays underneath my grandmother's remote controlled mobile reclining chair every night while she watches television, but last night she was doing her normal routine with the dog laying underneath like usual, only this time she couldn't really control the chair properly and it collapsed upfront and we are pretty sure the dog died on impact and that its neck snapped instantly. We guessed at first due to the fact that there was not a peep out of the dog when or if it was struck by the chair. Normally animals will make a noise when threatened or attacked so we were going based upon the lack of a squealing sound. And then we noticed that the dog (who is named Puppy) had its tongue sticking out and its eyes were open. That is a clear indication of extreme suffocation and being crushed. I have seen enough movies to know how its done folks, its not a pretty sight let me tell you!  My whole family was devastated as they should be. I just joke around and laugh about it because I am that pompous butthead mentioned above and at times I cope and grieve differently than most. But I do miss the dog because even though it was a pain in the ass, it was still cool because of the way it was always there and it became a big part of all of our lives. The lives of my immediate family and I that is.
That brings me to the subject of Death itself. Yes I did capitalize it because it is a big subject and worth talking about. Everyone dies, I am a firm believer in a person should only die from natural causes. Guns should be illegal and restricted even with permits. Drugs should be done away with unless they're supplements to help you build muscle and taken with extreme carefulness. Cars should all be taken off the market and we should walk everywhere or at least take public transportation, that way we not only save money and stress off our mindds and bodies, but then we won't be a "fat" nation any longer and we'll be more in shape and more inept to want to do things in life. Anyway, those are just part of my own opinions.  Death should only be meant for natural causes or old age. Everyone should die at a reasonably old age as far as I'm concerned. Just like author Kevin Trudeau says in his book, "Natural Cures They Don't Want You to Know About"  a very good book and worth reading. Okay I'm done with that plug now.  As far as Death, its a very nasty word and I think I'll eliminate it from my vocabulary as soon as now. But we should all work hard to let the government know that certain drugs and things that kill us should be taken off the market and assasinated so to speak. Anyone with me? I think I'll get comments for this one I really do...Someone has to agree with me.. We deserve to live for a long time people. No more being hit by drunken drivers or overdosing on under the table drugs. Let's take care of ourselves. Let's show other countries that we do care about ourselves. Let's do it!

First....With More to Come

More to come is the key....this is the very first blog that I will send out....What I write will not only be very entertaining but fun to read and exhilarating to feel..My words mean something and I want to share with the world and the selected readers what I have to offer the Earth...I'm consistently complicated....that is the best way to describe me...I have always been the one hiding in the shadows and making sure no one knows I exist...My life has been like the weather, you never know what will come next and you always prepare anyway..You never know if you'll get a tornado that will crush your hopes and dreams, or a nice lukewarm windless caricature. Whatever you get, I guarantee it's lovely to the touch! Welcome to my world and I hope you enjoy everything I bring to the table.....Until then, respect yourself and cherish life!
